The
Isle of Skye offers some of the most extraordinary scenery within the British
Isles and, combined with the luminous quality of light, provides an exceptional
location for photographers at all levels to cultivate and stimulate their photographic
potential . This new range of workshops, all devised and led by Alan Campbell,
are designed to provide personal guidance to promote photographic talent within
an enjoyable small group of like-minded individuals.
an
introductory, 1-day, non-residential workshop for beginners or those requiring
the confidence and inspiration to take more control over their image-making | for
those with a basic understanding of the fundamental camera controls, this 2 day
residential workshop is designed to enhance your understanding of the creative
elements within photography allowing you to move towards instilling your photographs
with a sense of atmosphere | with
similar objectives to the weekend workshop, the 4-day extended workshop provides
the time to really explore our locations and, with a little luck, make some extraordinary
images |
| Rather than book onto one of the open workshops, you may prefer a private workshop completely tailored to your own photographic requirements. | ||
| As
an island resident, Alan has an intimate knowledge of the magnificent mountains,
the coral beaches and the towering headlands with an acute awareness of the best
locations to visit throughout the year. The Isle of Skye offers a hugely varied
landscape within a compact geography and Alan chooses locations that themselves
offer inspiration and variety to extend the talents of photographers at every
level. Typical locations may include remote beaches, brooding lochs and if the
weather is suitable, we may also make images of the renowned jagged peaks of the
formidable Cuillin mountain range.
